The aim of this resource is to form words using phase 2 sounds, such as ring, red, dog. This is a key skill taught in phonics lessons

Children build the word by segmenting it first, then using the sounds provided to form the word

The font used in this resource is the same as the one used in most schools and nurseries and so forms the letters correctly
